Error description

  • While trying to generate the DDL for a Native SQL Procedure,
where a select statement is followed by a FETCH FIRST clause.
ADB2GEN may fail with:
     ADB2PA: The following statement could not be parsed
   Token number =    nnn, Token = FETCH
          Processing Stored Procedure <SPname>
   ADB1933E The DB2 Admin parser could not parse a statement.
            An SQL comment containing the original DDL will
            be generated.
            Reason code = 8

Reverse engineering program (GEN) may fail with a parser
error. The issue occurs when the body of the procedure contains
a select statement followed by a FETCH FIRST clause.

ADB2PA: The following statement could not be parsed :
