• This APAR enables Administration Tool to archive audit log

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enables Administration Tool   *
  *                      to archive audit log records from the   *
  *                      z/OS log stream to a sequential data    *
  *                      set.                                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  Administration Tool writes audit log records from the z/OS
  log stream, but it does not have the function to archive the
  audit log records. The IMS Administration Tool log archive
  (ATYARCH0) batch utility only archives command log records.
  
  This APAR enhances the ATYARCH0 utility archives both the audit
  log records and the command log records. The utility copies the
  audit log records and command log records from the z/OS log
  stream to a sequential data set, and it deletes the log records
  from the z/OS log stream.
  In addition, this APAR provides a sample JCL of ATYARCH0.
