fields' = 'Yes' when creating an alias on a view, resulting in
the following errors:
 ADB7382S Severe error while generating DDL for AL . Please
          confirm the DDL is valid.
 ADB7380E Module ADB2CMP - Severe error Compare has been
          stopped.
 ADBC026E Severe Error when generating DDL

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Compare fails to mask ignored fields    *
*                      for aliases on views, resulting in      *
*                      errors: ADB7382S, ADB7380E, ADBC026E.   *
****************************************************************
Compare fails to mask ignored fields when creating
aliases on views, even though the user specified to do
so (Compare Option 'Mask ignored fields' set to 'Yes').
Compare thus does not mask the the ignored fields when
reading in the objects, causing processing to fail with the
following errors:

  ADB7382S Severe error while generating DDL for AL . Please
          confirm the DDL is valid.

 ADB7380E Module ADB2CMP - Severe error Compare has been
          stopped.

 ADBC026E Severe Error when generating DDL

Problem conclusion

  • The issue has been resolved.
