Error description

• Running reports interactively with default run action set to Run
  the report and Format either set to Excel or PDF will result in
  HTML output being generated. On that result screen the report
  can be re-run with Excel or PDF output and you will receive the
  requested output. Tested with Interactive and Non-Interactive
  Reports, as well as Chrome, IE and FF Browsers Results are the
  same.
