Error description
In order for a CICS region ( MAS ) to connect to a CICSPlex, there has to be a CSYSDEF definition for the MAS. That definition includes the name of the region, the APPLID, and the SYSID it is supposed to be using. If the MAS tries to connect using a different SYSID than the one in the CSYSDEF, CPSM issues the following message in the CMAS EYULOG: . EYUTS0023E Topology connect of CICS System sysname not initiated. CPSM Data Repository CSYSDEF and MAS SysIds do not match. APPLID(applid) CICSplex(plexname). . The SYSID of the CICS region is easy to determine, but it is often more of a challenge to find out what the CSYSDEF record contains. Sometimes a working WUI or CICS Explorer session can be used, or the CPSM XDBT utility can be used. . It would be better though for the difference in SYSIDs to be reported directly in the text of the EYUTS0023E message. . . Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVGJT

The message merely states that there is a mistmatch between these two values but does not detail what these values are. Keywords: msgEYUTS0023E EYUTS0023E

Comments
CPSM message EYUTS0023E has been updated to include message inserts for the expected CSYSDEF SYSID and the actual CICS SYSIDNT system initialisation parameter. Module EYU0TIST has been modified to populate the message inserts in the updated message EYUTS0023E. The CICSPlex SM Messages and Codes Manual and the CICS Knowledge Center will update message text for message EYUTS0023E as: Topology connect of CICS System <sysname> not initiated. CPSM Data Repository CSYSDEF (SYSID=<definedsysid>) and MAS SysId (SYSID=<sysidnt>) do not match. APPLID(<applid>) CICSplex(<plexname>).
