APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Scheduled application process by â ˜user1â ™ does not run at the
    scheduled time because the â ˜user1â ™ had the permission
    ⠜Execute on Environments⠝ removed (expected)
    but then the application process remains in "Executing" status
    (even after the â ˜user1â ™ gains back the â œExecute on
    Environments⠝ permission).
    
    Steps to reproduce or if has been reproduced on VM image, link
    to image
    I have confirmed this issue on UCD 6.2.7.2 and on the newest UCD
    7.0.2.2 as well.
    Steps:
    -	Have a â ˜user1â ™ schedule an application process to run on
    an environment â ˜Env1â ™
    -	Remove ⠜Execute on Environments⠝ permission for the
    â ˜user1â ™.
    -	At the scheduled time of the application process the process
    does not run. The process request page shows â œError starting
    workflow: User doesn't have execute permission to environment
    Env1 See the server log for the full error trace⠝
    -	The main Dashboard page does not list this process under
    current activities.
    -	The application process does not seem to be running, but its
    status under Application history page shows as 'Executing'.
    The process status remains in 'Executing' and the process
    request execution log still shows the error also after the user
    is given back the execute permission for the scheduled
    environment â ˜Env1â ™.
