Error description

  • While MFS Reversal/Compare utility processing a MFS member
    which is a DOF(Device output format) for 3270P device with
    garbage data between SECTION FIELD LINKAGE ENTRIES and FIELD
    DESCRIPTOR, the utility breaks internal table or internal
    workspace. It may cause building incorrect MFS source for the
    DOF and also cause ABENDS0C1 or the infinite loop for
    processing another member with broken internal table or
    internal workspace.

    This APAR fixes Reversal/Compare utility not to cause ABENDS0C1.
    
    While MFS Reversal/Compare utility processing a MFS member which
    is a DOF(Device output format) for 3270P device with garbage
    data between SECTION FIELD LINKAGE ENTRIES and FIELD DESCRIPTOR,
    the utility breaks internal table or internal workspace.
    It may cause building incorrect MFS source for the DOF and also
    cause ABENDS0C1 or the infinite loop for processing another
    member with broken internal table or internal workspace.
    
    MFS Reversal/Compare utility has been fixed to skip garbage data
    for 3270P device.
