  The URL parameter to show a certain folder in the content pane
  is functionality provided by the home page.  When you use a
  custom perspective this functionality is therefore not
  available.  In Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 FP3, we are providing an
  API which will allow custom perspectives to open content
