Error description
You are using CICS version 5.5 and are shutting your CICS region down. You see the following message: . EYUNX0019E NOAPPLID EXTRACT Exit EYU9NXSD failed, EIBRCODE=800200000000 . This did not occur prior to CICS 5.5. The region does shut down normally but the presence of the error level message is unexpected. The EYUNX0019E does not appear if you do NOT use COSH first to terminate the CPSM MAS agent code and let CICS shutdown terminate the CPSM code on its own. . . Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVSVR
Local fix
Do not use COSH prior to region termination with CEMT.
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CPSM users for V5R5M0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Performing LMAS CICS region shutdown * * after executing COSH, will cause error * * message 'EYUNX0019E' issued in LMAS. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves * * PH10853, all MAS regions must be recycled * * to pick up the new code. Note that the * * restarts do not need to occur at the same * * time. * **************************************************************** During CICS shutdown, an LMAS region will attach transaction COSH to terminate the CPSM MAS agent. If the MAS agent has already terminated (e.g: terminated by COSH), then additional instance of COSH attached by CICS shutdown is unnecessary. The additional instance of COSH running during CICS shutdown causes message EYUNX0019E to be issued. Additional Keywords: msgEYUNX0019E EYUNX0019 NX0019
Problem conclusion
EYU9NXTM has been modified to suppress message 'EYUNX0019E' when COSH is executing during CICS shutdown after MAS agent has already terminated.
