PH10817: SQLCODE551 ON EXECUTE PACKAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User gets SQLCODE -551 from DSNXEAAL attempting to EXECUTE a
  PACKAGE. SQLERRD1 = -210.  Also, userid reported in message
  contains a comma where it should not be.

  *                      authorization and AUTHEXIT_CHECK        *
  *                      zparm is set to DB2.                    *

  *                      This problem can also occur when        *
  *                      Db2 native security is used for         *
  *                      authorization.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available.         *

  When executing an autonomous stored procedure, the stored
  procedure owner id will be checked to ensure it has the
  EXECUTE privilege. If the stored procedure owner does not
  have the EXECUTE privilege, the plan owner executing
  the stored procedure will be checked. The plan owner id
  is saved in a Db2 control block field of the autonomous
  stored procedure. However, the code that sets the control
  block field was missing. Therefore an empty string was passed
  to the authorization check which resulted in the SQLCODE -551.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 code has been added to set the plan owner id in the
  control block for the autonomous stored procedures.
