Error description

• You are attempting to start your WUI server with a parm of
  TCPIPSSL that has a value of something other than YES or NO.
  For example

  When you attempt to use this value, your WUI region
  CMCI interface fails to initialize, and you may see
  the following messages:

  EYUVS0218E Failed to enable CICS Management Client Interface on
             JVM server EYUCMCIJ.
  .
  .
  DFHSJ1004  An exception has been thrown by the route method of
             class com/ibm/cics/router/Router running in JVMSERVER
             EYUCMCIJ. Exception 'JVM server failed to start.
             Further information may be available in JVM STDERR.'.
  .
  DFHDU0203I A transaction dump was taken for dumpcode: AJVM,

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: CICSPlex SM V5R5M0 users using the           *
  *                 CMCI JVM Server EYUCMCIJ.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CMCI JVM server EYUCMCIJ will not   *
  *                      start when EYUWUI parameter TCPIPSSL    *
  *                      is set to ATTLSBASIC.                   *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves         *
  *                 APAR PH10680, all WUI server regions         *
  *                 should be restarted. The restarts do not     *
  *                 need to occur at the same time.              *
  ****************************************************************
  A CICSPlex SM WUI server region has been configured to use
  the CMCI JVM server (EYUCMCIJ), and has also been configured
  for AT-TLS support using TCPIPSSL(ATTLSBASIC).
  When the WUI region initialises, the CMCI JVM server fails to
  start. CICS issues message EYUVS0218E and DFHSJ1004. The JVM
  error log shows:

  Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException:
    EYUWUI parameter "TCPIPSSL" must have a value of  YES  or "NO"
    at com.ibm.cics.router.wlp.internal.CMCIServer.configure(
    CMCIServer.java:237)
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated so that the EYUCMCIJ CMCI JVM server
  can be used in a region configured with TCPIPSSL(ATTLSBASIC)
  support.
