Error description

  • Property com.ibm.ws.runtime.dumpShutdown=true is set to as
    outlined in article:
Process to get a thread dump or javacore during server shutdown
    https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21304559

During shutdown it is generating two heapdumps and two
    javacores during shutdown.

This looks like the shutdown process is executing the server's
    shutdown hook twice.
The error does not actually cause any functional problems in
the server, and the second javacore can simply be ignored.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The com.ibm.ws.runtime.dumpShutdown system property configures
the server to create extra diagnostic output during its
shutdown process, including call stacks and javacores (or
thread dumps). Because the code creating the javacore lies
within a method that's called twice in typical stop scenarios,
enabling this option will often lead to a second javacore when
    only one should be expected.

Problem conclusion

  • Additional checking was added during shutdown to avoid
    creating the duplicate javacore.
