PH10638: APEX POINT IN POWERCUBE DOESN'T SHOW IN ANALYSIS STUDIO IF A MEMBER OF ONLY 1 GROUP/ROLE IN CUSTOMER VIEW

Error description

  • APEX point in powercube doesn't show in Analysis Studio if a
    member of only 1 group/role
    
    Easy to reproduce using sample Great ourtdoors sales.mdl
    1. Transformer 11 open sample sample Great ourtdoors sales.mdl
    2. Menu Diagram -> Catagories
    3. Click on 'Custom Views'
    4. Add one node like node 1
    5. On Dimensions: click on 'Margin range'
    6. On right diagram, click on '> 65%'    for column 'Margin
    range'
    7. click on 'Apex'   ( If Apex is grey, click on 'Customize'
    button on the left below window 'Dimensions'
    8 close 'Diagram Catagories' window
    9. add 'Custom Views' node 1 into PowerCubes 'The Sample
    Outdoors Co." as a sub node
    10. Create selected PowerCube and Publish PowerCube as Data
    Source and Package
    11. Goto Analysis studio, open the new created or publish
    powerCube on step 10
    
    You will not see the sub-node '>65%' , while if you add 'Margin
    range' from left to right window in the 'Measure' , you can see
    '>65%' in it. It just could not show the sub node on the left.
    
    If we add another sub node 2 in above step 4 , then it will show
    2 sub node in analysis studio, it is just not able to show 1
    member in it.
    
    It was a old defect long time ago that existed in cognos 7 or 8
    , it was fixed for a while, now it is coming back in Cognos 11 ,
    please help fix it again.
    
    I found the old defect, while not able to access that link any
    more, in the wellspring, I can see the page title, while click
    on it , it is not a valid link any more.
