Error description

  • When trying to execute
    ./lrcmd.sh -cmd=output
    -jobid=<jobid_batch> -host=<hostname> -port=<port>
    one gets
    WSWS3713E: Connection to the remote host
    t60101b-was.zrh.swissre.com:
    29444 failed.Received the following error:
    com.ibm.wsspi.channel.
    framework.exception.ChannelException:
    

Local fix

  • Adding -user -password makes it work . The reason is that
    lrmcd.sh command ignores settings of soap.client.props

    The lrcmd.sh/.bat tool currently only allows the userid and
    password to be specified via command line parameters to the
    tool.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The lrcmd tool has been updated to allow use of the userid and
    password within soap.client.props for authentication.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.17 and 9.0.5.3.  Please refer to the Recommended
    Updates page for delivery information:
