Error description

  • HAAM044W appears when attempting to view/update an exception
profile via a job profile and the LIKE_BLANK_INSIGNIFICANT
parm is set in the Db2 SSID.
This can happen if the user has LIKE_BLANK_INSIGNIFICANT
turned on (required in SAP-Systems, see SAP-NOTE 2239553).
This setting impacts how fixed-length character strings are
    matched in a LIKE predicate.
Basically, when LIKE_BLANK_INSIGNIFICANT is set, the
fixed-length character column is STRIPPED of trailing blanks
prior to evaluation. However, blanks in the LIKE predicate
    ARE significant.
Since the user has LIKE_BLANK_INSIGNIFICANT set, and Db2
Automation Tool's SQL statement in DLC#IOPF is
PROFILE_CREATOR LIKE :creator, a value of 'ABC' is being
    compared to 'ABC_bbbbb_'.
