PH10076: LE ABEND U=4088 (OUT OF STORAGE) WITH VIEW

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is attempting to use a VIEW while BROWSEing DB2 data.
  The VIEW is defined using unqualified table names in a JOIN
  statement.
  Optim runs out of memory and LE reports ABEND U=4088 while
  processing the view.

  The VIEW is defined using unqualified table names in a JOIN
  statement. Optim parses the view to determine the participating
  tables and uses incorrect qualifier causing a programmatic loop
  to occur.
  

Problem conclusion

• The parsing algorithm will be corrected to allow for unqualified
  names with VIEWs.
