Error description

• The message ICH408I OMVS SEGMENT NOT DEFINED is produced using
  ABO for any user that does not have an OMVS segment defined.

  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of the IBM Automatic Binary        *
  *                 Optimizer (ABO) for z/OS, v1.3.              *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABO may produce the message " ICH408I   *
  *                      OMVS SEGMENT NOT DEFINED " when it is   *
  *                      run by a user that does not have an     *
  *                      OMVS segment defined.  ABO does not     *
  *                      require an OMVS segment and the message *
  *                      does not affect the execution of ABO.   *
  *                      In fact, ABO proceeds to optimize the   *
  *                      input module correctly.  This APAR      *
  *                      modifies ABO so that the ICH408I        *
  *                      message is not produced.                *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply provided service                       *
  ****************************************************************
  ABO is changed so as to not produce the ICH408I message.

• ABO no longer produces the ICH408I message.
