PH08808: SAVED ACTIVE REPORT DRILL-THROUGH NOT WORKING AS EXPECTED

Error description

  • A customer is reporting that on Cognos Analytics 11.1, when they
    have an active report output saved and that report contains a
    drill through definition leading to a regular report, following
    the drill through link prompts them to 1) re-authenticate their
    credentials, and 2) once authenticated again, brings them to a
    URL which does not contain the full domain name (it seems to hit
    the dispatcher, and avoid the gateway). I am not clear on
    whether this behavior is expected or should be considered a
    defect. I have reproduced the problem here:

    Accessible using Blue pages credentials, navigate to Team
    Content > Austin
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Navigate to Team Content > Austin > Source
    2. Tap ellipsis next to the above report, expand 'View Versions'
    3. Open February 20th version (tap HTML icon)
    4. Click Drill through link, 'SALESCOUNTRYCODE'
    5. Notice you are re prompted for credentials. Once
    authenticated, take note of the URL which is now missing the
    domain. New URL: http://vottwatkinsdev:1111/bi/v1/disp
