Error description

  • The Execution mode of the GEN command is only set correctly if
PANELID ADB2GEN displays 'Execution mode' on the users screen.

Local fix

  • F8 until 'Execution mode' is displayed on the screen.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool for     *
*                 z/OS.                                        *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Execution mode of the GEN command   *
*                      is set incorrectly if the option        *
*                      'Execution mode' on the 'Generate SQL   *
*                      from DB2 catalog' panel is off-screen,  *
*                      i.e. F8 is needed to display the        *
*                      option.                                 *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

The Execution mode of the GEN command is only set correctly if
PANELID ADB2GEN displays 'Execution mode' on the users screen.
