PH08609: IEC133I MESSAGE OPEN FAILED FOR EXTENDED TIOT REXX BATCHPIPES XTIOT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When allocating a dataset with an xTIOT via REXX and then after,
  using BatchPipes, BP will encounter an IEC133I message. This
  is due to BatchPipes not supporting the xTIOT feature because
  the DEVSUPxx parmlib member enabled the xTIOT by default.

  not udated to support allocations that are requested with
  z/OS allocation X-TIOT active.
  

Problem conclusion

• BatchPipeWorks MVS dataset I/O processing module BPWDCB is
  updated to support allocations of datasets that have requested
  X-TIOT support be enabled with the inclusion of the use of a
  DCBE control block that is associated with the dataset DCB that
  is used to OPEN the dataset specified on the pipeline.
