APAR status

Error description

• When a subscription is created and run for the first time, it
  must start reading at some point in the log.  That can result in
  some URs being split at the initial read point, so that the
  first records, including the BEGIN UR record, are missing.  A
  missing BEGIN UR will be fabricated from data received in other
  records in the UR, however certain text content from the BEGIN
  UR will not be available.  When this missing content is code
  page converted in preparation for being sent to the target, it
  can cause message CHC1517E to be issued with return code 4 and
  reason code 1.

  *                      result in a UCS conversion error with   *

  occur when a subscription is started for the first time.
