  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 01.Excess tracing                       *
  *                      02.The operator command to display      *
  *                         clients fails - no response          *
  *                         received - when users are logged in  *
  *                         to the Remote System Explorer.       *

  *                         ABEND happens.                       *

  01.Excess tracing
  02.The parameter to be queried for connected users in the
     received response is wrong, thus having a Null Pointer
     Exception.
  03.When a user attempts opening an MVS file, if for some reason
     the hostcp mapping for the member is absent, then an abend
     0C4 may occur in FFSJNI.
  04.Utility Guide instructs the user to go to
     /usr/lpp/IBM/zexpl/bin to run IVP, which can result in
     failure. Host Configuration guide has the correct steps.
  05.Remote z/OS Search component of z/OS Explorer host failed to
     find a correct resume data set name in a search operation.
  06.In IBM Explorer for z/OS, intermittent slow response times
     may be encountered for MVS file actions such as read/write,
     and RSE 'DISPLAY' operator commands may timeout or contain
     incomplete information
  07.The z/OS Explorer daemon IVP fails with
     "gsk_secure_socket_init() failed: No SSL cipher
     specifications" when 4 character cipher ID's are used.
  08.z/OS Explorer TSO SEND exit FEKEESX0 (alias IKJEESX0) can go
     into an endless loop
  

Problem conclusion

• 01.This reduces some of the trace messaesg
  02.Corrected the parameter to be queried for connected users to
     prevent Null Pointer Exception.
  03.In the unlikely event that a hostcp mapping is absent, it
     gets set to the default encoding for the host.
  04.The IVP panel is updated so it can run directly from the
     panel, avoiding the faulty instructions
  05.Remote z/OS Search component of z/OS Explorer host was fixed
     to continue a search operation with the correct resume data
     set
  06.Thread synchronization mechanisms have been revised
  07.Added support for 4 char SSL cipher ID to IVP.
  08.removed endless loop path
