    ****************************************************************
When an application terminates abnormally, MQ for z/OS work
gets rolled back. An application that includes Java can
encounter errors in the form of POSIX signals such as
SIGXCPU which will not cause the application to ABEND.
In such a case, uncommitted MQ for z/OS work is incorrectly
committed instead of being rolled back.

Problem conclusion

  • MQ for z/OS has been updated to ensure that uncommitted work
will be rolled back when POSIX signals like SIGXCPU
    are detected.
