Error description

• Conditional restart using SYSPITRT to truncate logs fails
  with ABEND04E-0000003A at DSNJR001+0101E
  This should have been ABND=04E-00D10253, but was incorrect
   due to another problem.

  * Db2 conditional restart with SYSPITRT                        *
  * option fails with ABEND04E-0000003A                          *
  * at DSNJR001+0101E.                                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available.                         *
  ****************************************************************
  When conditionally restarting Db2 with SYSPITRT option and
  running in 31-bit mode, high half part of the parameter list
  address is not cleared and this address is passed internally.
  This leads to a garbage address being accessed
  and results in ABEND04E-0000003A.
  Incorrect reason code 0000003A is set by the recovery routine
  instead of 04E-00D10253.
  

Problem conclusion

• High half part of the parameter list address is now cleared
  before being passed. Recovery routine has been fixed to show
  the right reason code of 00D10253 in case of abend.
