    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    1. Message DRLJ0147E incorrectly issued during normal
    processing.

2.Various issues with the TCPIP transmission
stage and its integration with the improved
    packet synchronization introduced in PH11259.

    3. Message DRLJ0057E is not clear whether sending/writing to a
    TCPIP connection or disk file.

    4. Out of Disk Space error occurring when TCPIP connection down.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. Message DRLJ0147E no longer issued during normal processing.

2.TCPIP tracker management and synchronization extended to cover
the TCPIP Sender thread. Out of memory failure prevented.

    3. Message DRLJ0057E expanded to indicate whether
sending/writing to a TCPIP connection or disk file.

    4. New option for TCPIP stages - use_buffer=no. If set to no,
the DataMover will stop sending data if a TCPIP connection drops
and then resume when the connection is reestablished. It no
longer writes large volumes of DataPackets to the buffer
directory, which should no longer fill up the file system.
