  • Online Pointer Checker cannot report the number of free IOVF CIs
correctly, in some cases. The field OPC had used in the past
can no longer be relied on for an accurate count, so changes
are being made as a result.

*                      some cases.                             *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
****************************************************************
The field in 2nd CI that OPC had used to report the number of
free IOVF CIs can no longer be relied on for an accurate count.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • OPC has been modified to scan the IOVF SMAP to report the
correct number of free IOVF CIs.
