Error description

  • When the PAL VSAM cluster is not accessible for an OPEN by IIDR
    CDC for z/OS, then message CHC0030E is issued with reason code
    X'00000003'.  This reason code indicates that the request to
    obtain message content from the PAL VSAM cluster was failed due
    to parametric errors in the request.  This is incorrect, since
    the request was failed due to the failur to OPEN the VSAM
    cluster, and the parametric content was correct.  The correct
    reason code is X'00000002'.
