PH07301: TIMESTAMP ERROR IN QUEUE BATCH UTILITY DSLSQB

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When DSLSQB performs queue operations (Delete, Move, or Route),
  more or less messages than intended can be processed if
  selection criteria with variables of type timestamp (TIM) are
  used. For example, if the date with two-digit year in the
  MSGTRACE field is involved.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When DSLSQB selects messages using      *
  *                      variables of type TIM, the selection    *
  *                      result can be wrong. This occurs since  *
  *                      2019 when a two-digit year is used for  *
  *                      selection.                              *

  * RECOMMENDATION: This has been corrected. Now the selection   *
  *                 result is correct.                           *

Problem conclusion

• DSLSQB now selects messages correctly when using a variable
  containing a two-digit year as selection criterion.
