PH07249: OBJECT COMPARE EXPRESSION BASED INDEX KEYTARGET_COUNT CHANGE MANAGEMENT CREATES EMPTY CHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If you run an Object Compare job to change the number of
  columns in an expression based index, and indicate that you
  will use Change Management,  the Object Comparison Report will
  indicate that field KEYTARGET_COUNT (in SYSIBM.SYSINDEXES) is
  being changed, but the actual change created in Change
  Management will be empty.
  

Local fix

• Run the Object Compare job without using Change Management.

  change file even though a difference is recognized in the
