Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty for z/OS * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: No assembler DSECT is provided to parse * * SMF120 records in Liberty * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A program that is written to parse SMF records written by z/OS is unable to read the individual fields from the SMF 120 subtype 11 and 12 records written by Liberty, because there is no available DSECT mapping. The DSECT provided by WebSphere Application Server for z/OS cannot be used because it does not include the subtype 11 and 12 records written by Liberty
Problem conclusion
An assembler (DSECT) mapping of the SMF 120 subtype 11 and 12 records is provided in wlp/dev/api/ibm/zos/bbgzs120.mac. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 19.0.0.1.
