PH07032: CM BATCH COMPARE ANALYZE GENERATES UNNECESSARY REBUILD INDEX AFTER REORG TABLESPACE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a change drops/recreates an index, and alters a table, a
  Rebuild Index statement may be generated directly after a Reorg
  Tablespace statement. Since the Reorg Tablespace statement
  automatically includes the rebuilding of any related Indexes,
  the Rebuild Index statement is unnecessary.

  When analyzing a change that drops/recreates an index
  and alters a table, CM Batch or Compare will rebuild the
  index after reorging the tablespace.
  
  The reorg of the tablespace already handles the
  rebuilding of the index so the explicit rebuild of the index
  is unnecessary.
