PH07011: "MICROC" FOLDER IN THE SHARE IS DELETE, WHEN TRYING TO INSTALL "DESIGN MANAGER IMPORTER"

IBM Rational Rhapsody 8.4

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1. Navigate to
  "C:\ProgramData\IBM\Rational\Rhapsody\8.3.1x64\Share\Profiles"
  and ensure that "MicroC" folder is present
  2. Open Control panel and navigate to "Programs\Programs and
  Features"
  3. Click on "IBM Rational Rhapsody 8.3.1 64 bit" and select
  "Change"
  4. Install the "Design Manager Importer" under Rhapsody model
  Manager - Refer the attached diagram.
  5. Once the installation if complete, go back the "profiles"
  folder. You will notice that "MicroC" folder is missing.

Problem conclusion

• We couldn't reproduce this isse, but I added a small change that
  might fix this issue in the problematic machine
