  • ABEND0C4 IPIACOMM + x'194C' which is caused by APAR PI62775
PTF UI38668.
After APAR PI62775 the end of the device types table was not
correctly established. If a device is not found in the device
types table, testing for the device type will ultimately fail
with abend S0C4. APAR PI62775 is marked PE and the S0C4 will be
addressed here.

ABEND0C4 IPIACOMM+x'194C' which turned out to be caused by
APAR PI62775 PTF UI38668 which is now marked PE with this
APAR/PTF now fixing ABENDS0C4.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • After APAR PI62775 the end of the device types table was not
correctly established. If a device is not found in the device
types table, testing for the device type will ultimately fail
with abend S0C4. This fix correctly identifies the end of the
device types table during device look up.
