Error description

  • Using the Harmony SE toolkit to generate "handoff models"
doesn't create anything for a particular subsystem, even though
    the toolkit can locate it.

Problem: When customer invokes SE-Toolkit->Architecture Tools ->
Create Handoff Models, then the "Shared Model" is created. In
the "Log" window the tool outputs "--Found Subsystem: ADTFPkg",
but there is no subsystem model generated.

    How to reproduce:
    1. Unzip the linked model.
    2. Open the DatabeamClassicPIL.rpyx.
    3. Set the "DatabeamClassicPIL" model active (right-click on
DatabeamClassicPIL -> Set as Active Project from context menu)
    4. Right-click "DatabeamClassicPIL" then click SE-Toolkit ->
Architecture Tools -> Create Handoff Models.

    Results:
    No handoff models are created.

    Workaround:
    There are no known workarounds.

Problem conclusion

  • Rhapsody throws an exception if the toolkit tries to add a
package by reference and that package already exists. The
toolkit now checks for this and does not try to add a package if
    it is already there.
