Error description
After migration from WAS 9.0.0.5 to WAS 9.0.0.6 JSF failed with javax.faces.FacesException: unable to create view "/web/common/loginSuccessBlank.xhtml" at org.apache.myfaces.view.facelets.FaceletViewDeclarationLanguage. restoreView(FaceletViewDeclarationLanguage.java:2142) Further research resulted in following findings: Our applications use Stateless-Views as defined in the JSF-2.2-Standard. Additionally we use the JSF-Standard-Templatingmechanism. This template defines global links to javaScript-files, and css, in addition to the HTML-Structure, which we would otherwise have to maintain in every individual View.
