APAR status

Error description

• This APAR fixes following issues of TOSI servers:
  Forward-Fit: Duplicate TOSI initialization brings down the IMS
  Control Region (PI72502)
    Forward-Fit: TOSI server always truncates response messages on
  and after receiving a long message from IMS (PI78078)
  
  This fix requires restarting IMS to reflect changes.

  This APAR resolves the following issues of IMS Tools Online
  System Interface.
  - Forward fit of Tools Base V1.5 APAR PI72502.
    When IMS Partner Product exit routine (PPUE) issues TOSI
    server initialization calls more than once, FOI100I message is
    issued every time.
    IMS control region can continue normally at that point,
    however, S0C4 abend occurs after TOSI server processed any
    request from IMS Tools products.
  
  - Forward fit of Tools Base V1.5 APAR PI78078.
    When TOSI server receives a long response from IMS, it
    truncates response messages to fit within an internal buffer
    before returning to TOSI clients.
    However, once TOSI server truncated the long response message,
    it always truncated even for short response messages
  

Problem conclusion

• The following TOSI server modules have been changed to fix the
  above problem:
  - FOIAM40D, FOIAM40E, FOIAM40F
  - FOICIVP0
  - FOIITK0D, FOIITK0E, FOIITK0F

  an initialization call to initialize the IMS Tools Online System
  Interface environment although the environment is already
  initialized.
  System action: Processing continues, ignoring the duplicate
  initialization call.
