PH05631: TEMPLATE DSN WITH SYMBOLIC VARIABLE &DB USES INCORRECT LENGTH

Error description

• If a template DSN is set up to use symbolic variable &DB
  (database name), and a position and length are given for the
  name,  the DB portion of the dataset name begins at the
  requested position, but ignores the length specified and
  instead continues until the end of the database name.  For
  example, if the database name is TESTDB, and &DB(3,2) is
  specified, the template DSN contains 'STDB' instead of 'ST'.

  name, position parameter is honored, but the length
  parameter is ignored. For example, if the database name
  is SAMPLE, and &DB(3,2) is specified, the template
  DSN uses 'MPLE' instead of 'MP'.
