    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: FPB DEDB Reload utility (FABCUR3) *
    *                      abended with U3824 after installing     *
    *                      PI89911/UI52435.                        *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
    With PI89911/UI52435, FABCUR3 has been modified to use the
    Catalog Search Interface (CSI) to obtain information to
    calculate HIGH ALLOCATE RBA of the multi-volume ADS. FABCUR3
    abended with U3824 due to CSI call error, it should not abend
    because the reload processing may be continued even if CSI call
    error occurs.

Problem conclusion

  • FABCUR3 has been modified to calculate HIGH ALLOCATE RBA
    of the multi-volume ADS without using CSI when CSI error
    occurred, and continues processing.
