Error description

  • (HPU 5.1 only) The same root cause has the following impacts.
    - The shit-out (x'0F') byte expected at the end of data
converted from a graphic CCSID to an EBCDIC CCSID is missing.
    - The performance of a logical unload selecting contiguous
string columns and requiring ccsid conversion decreases sinceit
is run with Db2 HPU 5.1.

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been changed to fix this problem

Temporary fix

  • PH04461:
Use the COPYDDN ddname option and allocate the image copy with a
    DD statement.

    PH05248:
If applicable, change the settings so that the exit program is
not invoked on Db2 HPU SYSPRINT dataset opening.
