  * USERS AFFECTED: All IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS *
  *                 Version 4 Release 2 users ( FMID=H1J0420 )   *
  *                 who uses recovery function.                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Recovery function under IMS V15 of IMS  *
  *                      HP Image Copy can not recover the       *
  *                      database if input image copy has been   *
  *                      created in IMS V12 or lower. Recovery   *
  *                      function ends with RC 08 ( RC08 ) and   *
  *                      message DFS339I ( MSGDFS339I).          *
  *                      Recovery function under IMS V14 also    *
  *                      fails if input image copy data set      *
  *                      has been created in IMS V11 or lower.   *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  Recovery function under IMS V15 of IMS HP Image Copy can not
  recover the database if input image copy has been created in
  IMS V12 or lower. Recovery function ends with RC 08 ( RC08 )
  and message DFS339I ( MSGDFS339I). Recovery function under IMS
  V14 also fails if input image copy data set has been created in
  IMS V11 or lower.
  
  Recovery function should allow the input image copy data set
  that has been created in IMS V10 or higher. But IMS recovery
  program for IMS V15 only allow IMS V13, 14 or 15. Program for
  IMS V14 has the same trouble that allows only IMS V11, V12, and
  V13.
  
  By this APAR Recovery function allows the input image copy data
  set that is created in IMS V10 or higher.
  

Problem conclusion

• Recovery function allows the image copy data set of IMS V10.
