APAR status

Error description

• ABEND0C9 IPISLOGM+64 and was also seen at IPISLOGT+71C.
  In processing IMS x'07' accounting data for statistical
  reporting purposes values greater than 2147483647 cause overflow
  errors when using 31-bit registers. In this case an application
  error caused these numbers to be so high, however, we want to
  be sure IMSPA can handle such numbers and not abend.        S0C9

Problem conclusion

• 1. A number of legacy report processors will be converted to
     use 63-bit processing instead of 31-bit processing when
     handling statistical data for reporting and analysis.
  
  2. When apportioning Accounting field values (DB/DC call fields)
     for form fields some inconsistencies were found due to
     different methods being used in calculations. A standard
     consistent approach using 63-bit processing of values will be
     adopted in this APAR.
