APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • At the moment, we only check that the affinity server is
running an application with the same name as the application
that provides the endpoint, we don't check that the server
    has that endpoint available.

Local fix

  • ensure that any application running on a server is running any
web modules present in that application.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Requests for web modules can be sent to *
    * affinity servers that do not have the *
    * endpoint for the request deployed *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
When we receive a request for a web module and we have affinity
with a server with is running an application with the same name
as the application providing that endpoint, we do not check if
that server has the endpoint for that request deployed.

Problem conclusion

  • We will be adding a check that the affinity server has the
    endpoint for the request available.
