Error description

  • Advisor connections which fail due to a time out are not
    detected when the timeout value expires.

    Advisors timeout on connection failures but the timeout may be
    delayed rather than occurring when the connecttimeout period
    expires.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The connection attempt it checked on an increasing interval to
    see if the connection established and that interval could
    exceed the timeout value.  Modified the code to ensure the
    socket is checked when the timeout period expires.
    
    Fix level :  8.5.5.16 and 9.0.0.11
    This fix affects all flavors of Load Balancer:
      Load Balancer for ipv4 (LLB)
      Load Balancer for ipv4 and ipv6 (ULB)'
      Content Based Routing (CBR)
      Site Selector (SS)
