Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM Caching Proxy * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Chunked requests with more than 10 MB * * of data will fail. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Caching Proxy has a hardcoded 10 MB limit for chunked request data. Chunked requests with data greater than 10 MB will be rejected by Caching Proxy.
Problem conclusion
IBM Caching Proxy was updated to make the request body limit tunable using the directive: MaxRequestContentLengthBuffer <size> <K|M> The default value for MaxRequestContentLengthBuffer is 10 MB and can be increased up to 100 MB. To increase the limit to 20 MB, for example, use: MaxRequestContentLengthBuffer 20 M The fix for this is targeted for the following IBM Caching Proxy fixpacks: - 9.0.0.10 - 8.5.5.15
