APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When navigating to a package from a tablespace (panel ADB21,
Option 1-S,  panel ADB21S, K line command, panel ADB21K, I line
command), the contoken field may appear blank.   In addition,
the SQ line command on panel ADB21K does not return SQL for the
package.  This fix corrects both of these issues.
Note:  The contoken and SQL are displayed correctly when
navigating from panel ADB21 directly to the packages (Option
1-K).

Local fix

  • Use DET line command on panel ADB21K.

Recreate:

1. On panel ADB21S 'Table Spaces' enter line command
'K' on object.
2. On panel ADB21K 'Packages', enter line command 'I'
on object.

Result:
Interpretation panel ADB21KI1 'Interpretation of an
Object in SYSPACKAGE' shows blank value for field
"Consistency token in hex", which is incorrect.

In addition, the 'SQ' line command on panel ADB21K
does not return SQL for the package.

Problem conclusion

  • Problems have been resolved.
