Error description
Dimensions groups in SAP BW are usually imported into Framework Manager as folders to group dimensions. Using "Enhance model for SAP BW organization of objects" must be set. There names are language specific in SAP BW. In case your SAP BW does not maintain them in English, IBM Cognos Analytics does not import them. The reason is that first language is set to EN-us, so SAP BW's default language configuration cannot take place. IBM Cognos Analytics language setting takes precedence. Any additional language information during metadata import is applied properly. The problem occurs for Dynamic Query Mode only.
Local fix
For IBM Cognos BI 10.x: - create the Framework Manager project using compatible query mode - publish your packages then using Dynamic Query Mode option
