* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

This problem is caused by the PROC having a step before
starting IMS that the DSN is a variable and a default is not
defined in the PROC.
In this condition, IMS Admin Tool issues the following messages
and discover fails.
ATY3902E - MVS Service IGGCSI00 call from ATY#BRGN failed
ATY3003I - Dataset Name:
ATY3001I - Return Code: 4   Reason Code: 00000050

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR fixes IMS Aministration Tool to ignore the DSN
variable that no value is specified in the PROC.
