Error description
An issue was foudn with the Windows 125x support in XLXP during conversion of bytes to UTF-8. XML team has updated the prerequisite xlxp2 binaries in ph03006, this APAR was requested for the web services component, so that we can include this fix in WAS future fixpacks

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM WebSphere Application Server users of * * Web Services JAX-WS feature. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Usage of Windows125x encoding with * * XLXP can lead to OutOfmemory * * Exception or a thread hang * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Internally Windows125x encoding is converted into UTF-8 bytes for processing. During this step certain combination of characters could cause the parser to hang or to cause OutofMemory error allocating many buffers.
Problem conclusion
A new system property has been added to enable Java SDK platform encoding instead of XLXP internal encoding support. com.ibm.xml.xlxp2.api.util.encoding.usePlatformEncodingSupport The default value of the propety is false.
