APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When performing a local migration to WAS v9.0, not all virtual
  host entries in
  profile_root/config/cell/<cellName>/virtualhosts.xml are
  migrated to WAS v9.0.
  

Local fix

• Manually add the missing virtual hosts entries to the new
  WAS v9.0 application server using the WAS v9.0 Integrated
  Solutions Console (ISC).

  Migration minimized the virtual host entries based on IP
  address.  When multiple host names exist for the same IP
  address the migration code removed what it thought were
  duplicate entries.
  

Problem conclusion

• Migration tooling has been adjusted to only minimize the
  multiple host aliases based on whether a remote migration is
  being performed.  If a local migration is being performed the
  duplicate IP check is by passed to preserve the host alias
  entry.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.11.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
  page for delivery information:
