Error description
We developed an add-on in which we are trying to create flows between flowports of <> objects. The flowports are inherited from the <> classes because there are generalizations between Variants and VariationPoints. The flow must be created between the flowports which are not defined in the variation class. Using "setEnd2ViaSysMLPort" or "setEnd1ViaSysMLPort" method from the Rhapsody API with the object of the Variant class and the flowPort inherited from the variationPoint for a new created flow we receive RhapsodyRuntimeException with the message : "The specified port and object are incompatible." .Â
